Medicaid Service Coordination

We supply a central point from which services are identified, accessed and coordinated. We aid the families of those we serve by assisting the individuals in finding services, in making appointments, and in understanding their rights and entitlements. We foster and enable the process that respectfully integrates such individuals in their respective communities. In addition, we promote the concept of choice; coordinate all aspects of individuals' education, waiver services, and supportive employment. And we develop a comprehensive and an individualized service plan for the individual's happy living. Our efforts are directed toward persons with developmental disabilities and mental retardation with a view to helping them access and obtain services and programs adequate for their daily lives and community integration.

Our Human Services embrace every physically and mentally challenged person at their point of need. We accept individuals with all forms of disabilities and varied degrees of retardation. Our program includes the provision of transportation for doctor's visits, program appointments, and other necessary functions. We pride ourselves on an approach that fully respects the dignity of everyone we serve irrespective of their background.

INSURANCE COVERAGE AND REQUIREMENTS

We serve both Medicaid and non Medicaid individuals with disabilities. We work to get individuals into Medicaid. All our procedures are based on an honest professional ethic.

DOH: WAIVER SERVICES FOR TBI {in process}

The Human services Specialists that advocate for individuals with all forms of disabilities. We go beyond requirement to offer the individuals we serve, Transportation for Doctors appointments. Accompany clients to placement interviews, hospitals when they have no means, make clinic visit appointments for routine check up, schools and other necessary places our clients need to go but have no means of getting there.

OBJECTIVES

In addition to assisting individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, mental retardation (with IQ less than 70 and low range adaptive behavior), Marygolden House will, in the future, provide SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY, shelter and temporary accommodation to individuals without homes, families seeking emergency shelter, in-home and out-of-home respite services for individuals with developmental disabilities/TBI, and also residential accommodation to the people we serve. As human services specialists, our mission and services will not be limited to short term solutions to individuals’ problems and needs. We will sustain and commit to a continuous effort that improves the lives of all the individuals we serve, by accessing all the amenities and resources made available by the state and the community.

IN HONOR OF US SERVICE MEN & WOMEN

Marygolden House has the vision to provide the most essential social services to children and adults for; Crisis Intervention, Counseling, Service Coordination, Case Management, and Habilitation Training. We serve people with mental and physical disabilities with a special emphasis on the needs of US Military Veterans. Our program for people who have suffered Traumatic Brain Injury includes an exclusive component for Veteran men and women. Our services include Counseling to families of children with disabilities, Veterans and their families, returning Veterans at risk and people with Traumatic Brain Injury. Our Programs include Housing, Recreational Activities, In-Home Respite and At Home Residential Habilitation.
