Organization Description

Marygolden House is a Social Services Corporation 501[c][3], a not for profit Corporation, currently certified by New York State Office of People with Developmental Disabilities as a Provider of Services. The Agency has for many years been providing Service Coordination to Individuals in Suffolk and Nassau County. The Agency serve people with all forms of developmental disabilities from the age of 5 to 65 years old irrespective of their religion, ethnicity, culture, language, religion, race and gender.

Mary Golden House is establishing a Program privately funded by the Agency that provides Crisis Intervention Counseling to families at Risk. Special Emphases is given to families of Veterans, active or inactive who has children with special needs, services as Respite Care, Temporary Shelter and other basic assistance to foster their transition to a peaceful functional family system, with or without public funding, Mary Golden House provides services that are vital to the community in need.

A Professional Human Services Organization, Mary Golden House is founded and managed by the same family who privately served and provided charities to people in most socially depressed and underserved areas of Long Island. As an Organization, MGH caseload are mostly single parents and low income families, with few or no resources, no support system, often lacking the vital information about services that may be available to them. The Agency’s mission is focus to restore the individual’s human dignity.
